Rapper/Actor T.I joins the cast of Marvel’s Ant-man set to drop next year. The film’s director Peyton Reed, who also directed movies such as Yes Man (starring Jim Carrey) and The Break U p(2006), also casted Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd to star as leading characters in the film.
T.I has been in the headlines lately partly for promoting his latest project Trouble Man but mostly due to his scuffle and ongoing drama with boxing champ Floyd Mayweather over controversial dealings with wife Tameka”Tiny” Harris. It seems like T.I is keeping busy to stay out of trouble. He started his acting career back in 2006 (ATL) and has been in several movies since (American Gangster and Takers). Although T.I’s role in the film has yet to be revealed, I’m sure this movie will add value to this young entrepreneur’s acting resume.

Ant-Man is set for a July 17, 2015, release. Marvel’s busy release schedule for the next few years includes The Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015, Captain America 3 on May 6, 2016, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on July 28, 2017, as well as several untitled releases.
