Complex reports Kyle Pinelli, a teenager who survived a life threatening car accident that left him with a diffuse axonal injury to his brain, learned how to speak again by listening to Tech N9ne lyrics. It turns out the therapist he was working with was also familiar with the lyricist and used his intricate and powerful songs to help him learn how to speak again. Thanks to the music, Pinelli achieved a miracle two months later and his first words was the chorus for “Dysfunctional.”
