Aaliyah was one of the most beloved figures in music at the time of her tragic death, but her loss is still felt strongly from the hip hop community and fans over a decade later. With her nickname being “Babygirl” to many, the late singer was adored by everyone she came across, making her sudden death all the more painful to those that were close to her. We decided to reflect back on some of the stories and memories that our favorite artists once shared, and remember the beauty that was Aaliyah.
