It’s probably been a few years since we’ve heard JAY Z spit a radio freestyle, and while we may have some serious waiting to do for another one, if at all, we’re getting a throwback one today. Tim Westwood decided to give Hov fans a special treat by releasing an unreleased JAY Z freestyle that dates back to 1999.

The UK radio host dropped the 4-minute track, which has old school beats on it, with JAY Z spitting rhymes off of his “Come and Get Me,” “NYMP,” and “Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)” tracks. Calling himself the “Jordan of rap,” while even reflecting on his album sales around the time that Biggie was shot to death, there’s a lot of hip hop nostalgia for fans to take in.
