Although Drizzy signed to Lil Wayne’s imprint Young Money Records in 2009, the Toronto rapper quickly rose to fame and established his own OVO label. The record label served as a platform where Drake could showcase his own artists like Party Next Door, iLoveMakkonen and many others. Drake was becoming a businessman in his own right.
