Many people were not aware that before Tupac Shakur passed away at the young age of 25 years old, he was preparing his hip-hop group The Outlawz to take over the music industry. Today, in a new interview that E.D.I. Don (one of the members from The Outlawz) did for Vlad TV, he talks about his mentor Tupac Shakur. E.D.I. Don also talks about how Tupac Shakur almost wasn’t featured on Dr. Dre’s now classic hit “California Love.”

Dr. Dre originally had someone else on the track and was not intending to put Tupac on the track but Tupac was fresh out of the pen and ready to roar. Dr. Dre saw his hunger and wanted to gave Tupac a chance. Watch the full E.D.I. Don interview below and let us know what your take on this situation is. Do you think that “California Love” still would have been a classic without Tupac Shakur?
