GZA was a lyrical specimen. The man surgically knifed his way through tracks with his innate wordplay. His 1995 album, Liquid Swords is considered his magnum opus and one of the best releases ever in hip hop. GZA has been under the radar since his last release Pro Tools, which dropped in 2008. He’s currently prepping his first release in eight years with Dark Matter.
