Young Thug is ready for the world! The Atlanta rapper revealed the official cover art and album release date for his debut album Tha Carter 6 yesterday via his Instagram page. Although a lot of people are looking forward to Young Thug’s album, many people are also questioning why he would title his debut album Tha Carter 6 which has a very similar title to Lil Wayne’s new album Tha Carter V that has yet to drop. Young Thug’s debut album Tha Carter 6 is scheduled to drop on April 17th. Since Lil Wayne and Birdman are still at odds over the official release date of Tha Carter V, we’re assuming that Weezy’s album won’t be dropping anytime soon.
