The Professional was the first mixtape from a DJ that would hit stores with a barcode and also in the streets as free music. Its also a fact that Dj Clue is the only DJ in hip hop history to have a platinum selling mixtape/album! DJ Clue is one of the founding fathers of the new age mixtape, and the NYC based disc jockey had the streets on lock in the late 90s and early 2000s with his dope tapes. Let’s not forget how cool his album covers were everytime.
