It looks like the days of calling in (or ordering online) a pizza is now old news. Domino’s pizza is introducing a “tweet to order” system that will allow customers to place direct orders for pizza through Twitter. The pizza company rolls out this feature as part of an effort to capture tech-savvy customers.
Here’s how it works:
1. Hook up your Twitter account to your online Domino’s account
2. Tweet a pizza emoji to Domino’s
3. Sit back and wait for your pizza to arrive
The tweet-for-pizza feature will make its debut later (May 20th) and we’ll see how it works and if other pizza companies will follow this model/approach.
