Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin ruled yesterday (Mon, 17 March) for Chris Brown to remain in jail until April 23.   Brown will be locked up for the next five weeks after the singer was kicked out of rehab over the weekend.  Brown was originally sentenced to remain in the rehabilitation center until April when his assault case in Washington, DC began.

Police arrested the R&B singer after he was thrown out of the facility for breaking internal rules such as as touching a woman’s hand and elbow. Brown is to keep a two feet distance between himself and all females. He also refused to take a drug test (which he later agreed to and passed).

The judge made it clear that he was not happy with the comments Brown had stated about being “good at using guns and knives,” complaining that the rehab program was troublesome, and his “inability to stay out of trouble.” This resulted in the judge’s decision to not allow him to enter another rehab facility.

Brown is scheduled to begin his trial in D.C. on April 17th, until the he will remain incarcerated.
