Funk Volume Challenges Rap Groups For $500K

With Drake and Meek Mill’s back and forth earning national headlines, many rappers have been on the competitive tip recently. First, Lupe Fiasco accepted Mos Def’s $1M freestyle battle challenge, only to have his rebuttal rejected. Now, a new hip hop act is stepping in the line of fire.

Underground favorites Funk Volume, a group who’s most known members include Dizzy Wright, Hopsin, & Jarren Benton, issued a challenge to hip hop’s other rap crews. The collective called out G.O.O.D. Music, Slaughterhouse, TDE, Strange Music & Shady Records for a battle with the winner taking $500K. Sheesh. This could get interesting!
