Today at HHMW we celebrate the birth of Leslie Edward Pridgen aka Freeway, the hip-hop artist from north Philly. Freeway is most known for his aggressive lyrical skills and he had his main hit with a track called, “1-900-Hustler” released under Roc-A-Fella Records.

Freeway is a well respected MC within in the hip-hop community. He released his freshman LP album on Feb 25, 2003, it went on to sell more then a half million copies which put him at a certified gold sales.
