In Case You Were Confused, Azealia Banks Clears Things Up

Off the wall and often controversial rapper Azealia Banks took to her Instagram today, posting a picture of her in a curly afro-esque wig with the caption “I identify as black.” Although she hasn’t gone on record stating why she posted the pic along with the interesting and obvious caption, we can all assume that it probably stems from Bruce Jenner transitioning to Caitlyn Jenner saying he identifies as a woman and most recently, former NAACP president, Rachel Dolezal saying she identifies with being black, despite not being black at all.

No surprise that the off-the-wall rapper made such a random statement, but nonetheless, thanks for clarifying?
