Jay Z and Russell Simmons Discuss Criminal Justice with NY Governor

In light of Eric Garner’s ruling — two of hip-hop’s most powerful and respected moguls discussed criminal justice system reform with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. According to the Cuomo’s communication reps, the meeting went well and the Governor is considering adding a special prosecution to handle cases invovling police brutality. In addition, Governor Cuomo also had a conversation over the phone with Russell Simmons discussing the same topics. Learn more here.
