Over the weekend during the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, Kid Cudi passed out just seconds after signing an autograph for a fan. The Ohio rapper who was set to headline the live concert that night, fell ill while on set. In a video captured by a concert goer, during his performance Cudi collapses and is immediately attended to by security guards who whisked him away.

Later on that night Cudi addressed his fans via twitter stating,
Cudi claims the mishap was due to poor eating and insufficient rest, promising to take better care of himself before shows.
