Lil Durk claims he’s bigger than Drake

Lil Durk just dropped his new album “7220” after a 3-week delay. Wanting to promote his new album, the rapper and his entourage visited the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast.

While on the show, the host, Wallo recalled that Lil Durk had earlier told him about his drive to be bigger than Drake in the rap industry and then asked Durk if he’s closer to his dream.

Lil Durk Says He’s Bigger Than Drake

Surprisingly, Durk boasted that he’s already bigger than Drake. “Sh*t, to us, in this mothaf**ka, we bigger than him, you know what I’m sayin’?” Durk replied. “But nah, shout out to him. He touched the youth. That’s one thing about him… He touched us and got us hotter than what the f**k we was but a lot of people can’t say that. Like a lot of these mothaf**kas don’t even know him but a lot of people he talk to don’t know me. Like, that’s just what it is. And I’m in this mothaf**ka, middle of the trenches with a million dollars doing a f**kin’ interview, that’s why.”

Wallo Asks Durk To Stop The Violence

Later in the interview, Wallo emotionally asked Durk to stop street violence. Furthermore, he told the story of his brother’s tragic death. Talking to Durk, “I can name 20 or 30 ni**as of my homies that’s dead, but I’m here though,” Wallo said. “I forgave my brother’s killer. I’m saying that to say this. My brother died in my grandma’s arms in the house we grew up in. They shot my brother and he died in nanny’s arms when she opened the door. If I didn’t let that sh*t go, I wouldn’t be right here today for my nieces and nephews and me and Gillie wouldn’t be doing this. Y’all wouldn’t know me… I had to let that sh*t go. When I let that sh*t go, I started to grow and I started to glow. It was harder than a muthaf**ka’.”

The killer of Durk’s brother is still running free and the pain and anger has both consumed him and has been expressed through his music.  The album title 7220 was inspired by the address of his grandmother’s house, where his brother died.
