Lucky 21: Black Sheep’s Debut Album ‘A Wolf in a Sheep’s Clothing’ Turns 21 Today

What happened today in hip hop? Well, who can forget when Black Sheep released their debut endeavor, A Wolf in a Sheep’s Clothing 21 years ago? The New York tandem first met each other in North Carolina and were inseparable because of their affinity for hip hop.

After linking together in 1989, the duo launched their career with their flavorful single, “Flavor of the Month.” They swept away fans when they finally released their first album A Wolf in a Sheep’s Clothing in 1994 because of their intellect. Sadly, in 1995 the group disbanded but to only reunite in 2000.
