It would be weird to have the name Flavor Flav without a passion for cooking. Flavor Flav’s parents had their own diner on Long Island when he was growing up called Soul Diner which inspired him to go to cooking school and got his degree in culinary arts in 1978. He even opened up his own restaurants, Flav’s Fried Chicken in Iowa, House of Flavor in Vegas, and Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs. [ad2]
