T.I. Gets Booed
The April Fools Comedy Jam was held in Brooklyn, NY, Saturday April, 9th. The Barclays Center hosted the event featuring comedians Rip Micheals, Nick Cannon, HaHa Davis, Eddie Griffin, B. Simone, Tony Roberts, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Joe Torry, and Jacob Williams, plus performances by Lil’ Kim, T.I., Moneybagg Yo, and music by DJ Envy.

T.I. wasn’t there to rap though, he came to tell jokes. If you’ve been following T.I.’s career as of late, you are aware of his venture into comedy. I can’t say it seems to be working out too well for the rapper as his name has been in a few controversial situations in the comedy world.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Rip Micheals confirmed Tip was going to be in Brooklyn. “Angry T.I. is going to be there, and whatever you do, don’t make any sexual allegations about T.I. cause apparently he’ll rip your wig off or whatever,” he said, referencing the incident between T.I. and comedian Lauren Knight.
When T.I. took the stage in Brooklyn, the boos rained down on the rapper. Brooklyn definitely wasn’t feeling the rappers comedy act. Maybe he should’ve just cut the jokes short and kicked a freestyle.
