The Power, Dominance and Influence of Urban Hip Hop Culture

In this short video you can see a young kid, obviously of middle eastern decent, singing his rendition of Chris Brown’s Loyal. I must say it’s bittersweet as a black man to see the N word being slung around so freely.

Bitter because of all the negativity attached to the word from a historical standpoint.

Sweet because since subconsciously adopting the word as our own, we were able to remove the negative connotations from it and put it in songs where it’s sang on the other side of the world with no traces of it’s foul origin.

Dope.

Check it out.
