Tupac’s ‘All Eyez On Me’ Officially Diamond Status

Tupac Shakur’s groundbreaking album, All Eyez On Me, has obtained Diamond status by selling 10 million copies in the U.S. Released in 1996, the double album has shipped 5 million copies. Since it is a two disc CD, it registers as 10 million sold.

Shakur, who was gunned down on the Las Vegas strip in 1996, has gained this prestigious status before. 1998’s Greatest Hits album was also certified Diamond. He joins an exclusive clique of legendary rappers that have sold 10 million albums in North America, including The Notorious B.I.G., OutKast, and Eminem.

The album is full of Hip Hop classics like California Love, How Do U Want It, Life Goes On and 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted.
