Yesterday, Lil Wayne released a PSA stating that his upcoming album Tha Carter V will be split up and released on two separate dates. Earlier this week, Young Money President Mack Maine announced that Tha Carter V would be pushed back from its original date. Lil Wayne revealed via his video blog that the first part of his album will be released on December 9th, just six days before his labelmate Nicki Minaj is set to drop her The Pinkprint album. Lil Wayne has not revealed as of yet when he will release the second part of Tha Carter V.
