After Willie D left the group in the 90’s Big Mike stepped in and filled his shoes. The New Orleans spitter wowed J Prince and earned a slot on the group’s 1993 album Till Death Do Us Part. When Willie D returned, this signaled the end of Big Mike’s run with The Geto Boys. His solo project Somethin’ Serious was a big project from him and was well-received by his peers from the south. The last album he released was his 2013 effort, Fast Boy Music. [ad2]
