With the status of Wayne’s Tha Carter V up in the air, a vexed Weezy took a barrage of shots at Thugger despite once having a solid working relationship with him dating backing to their “Take Kare” record. Thugger continued to badger Wayne and lure him into his den by taking stabs at him. Wayne lawyered up and was able to get him to not drop Tha Carter 6. Thugger would drop Barter 6 in return and sell a paltry 19,000 copies.
