The movie Wild Style was capped by this real-life all-star concert filmed at an outdoor, graffiti-covered amphitheater in East River Park on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Fantastic Five, Treacherous Three, Double Trouble (wielding Tommy guns), the Rocksteady Crew, Busy Bee Starski, and Rammelzee performed, and bassist Nile Rodgers even showed up to cosign Grand Mixer DXT sampling “Good Times.” It was only appropriate to end this legendary movie, the first to accurately capture all four elements of hip-hop intertwining in their nascent glory days, with a show that brought everyone together.
