Although this performance gets flack because Kanye wore a woman’s Celiné blouse, the reality is at the time, this was the biggest performance of Kanye West career at the time. It was also the first time a hip-hop artist headlined a non-urban festival. Kanye performing at Coachella, showed the world that Mr. West was truly a global icon.
