Eazy-E made his appearance and rapped on a single during his time with N.W.A. titled “Boyz-n-the-Hood” produced by DJ Yella and Dr. Dre. Ice Cube wrote the original single for another hip-hop act signed under the Priority label. The group later declined the track (for reasons unknown) which led to Eazy to spit a line or two on the recording. Needless to say, it served as a catalyst for Eazy’s career.
