Because of N.W.A’s truth-telling and visceral lyrics, some saw their lyrics as a “threat” and “scare” to listeners and to the public at large. In a strange turn of events, Eazy-E was invited to a private members-only reception with various Republican elites (including former president George H.W. Bush., Arnold Schwarzenegger and others).
