Is L.A. The Most Dangerous City For Rappers

Jamie McBride, who is the Head of the Los Angeles Police Protective League stated late last year that rappers should keep off of the Los Angeles streets. “We can’t guarantee your safety. It is really, really out of control. I said it to people before, it’s like that movie ‘Purge,’ you know, instead of 24 hours to commit your crime, these people have 365 days to commit whatever they want,” he said. As a result, he is campaigning to put more cops on the streets.

Surprisingly, Boosie Badazz shared the same view as Jamie McBride. However, his opinion came shortly after Kodak Black was shot as he left Justin Bieber’s afterparty outside the West Hollywood restaurant. Recently, Boosie Badazz was featured in a VladTV interview and revealed his opinion about what happened to Kodak Black.

“I was trying to think why a n-gga hit Kodak,” Badazz said. “My partner was like it might be … I don’t know. I don’t really wanna speak on that.”

Is L.A. The Most Dangerous City

Boosie was reluctant to speak about the shooting incident but talked more about the dangers of visiting Los Angeles. According to him, he is always on guard whenever he has to pass through Los Angeles streets.

“I don’t know if that was the situation, but when I’m out in public, you always gotta be worried about [things] when you develop a past like that,” Boosie said. “That’s why my most peaceful times [are] at my crib. When I’m out in the street, regardless of what I’m doing, I’m looking over my shoulder. I got a life of looking over my shoulder.”

“That’s where all the rappers get robbed, you know, they can’t protect you in L.A.” he said. “I only go to L.A. to take care of something, get money, get money on business terms. I’m at Universal Studios, I’m trying to get money. Wherever I’m at, I’m not in the streets in L.A. I don’t really got nobody to protect me in L.A. but me.”

Kodak Black was shot in the leg on February 12 at The Nice Guy Italian restaurant. As a result, he was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
