Kim Kardashian drops “West” from last name. What does this mean for KKW?
It looks like reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has finally gotten her wish. Steve Cochran, a L.A. Superior Court Judge has ruled in Kim K’s favor as she sought to be declared legally single amidst her divorce from rapper Kanye West. During a court hearing via Zoom, she was granted her request to be officially single. Furthermore, the judge also restored Kim to use her maiden name instead of legally including West. However, Ye was not present.
It was rumored that Kanye had been holding up the proceedings while also causing Kim emotional distress in the process. He had been constantly taking to Social Media to berate his estranged ex wife’s current boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson. Kanye even went as far as including the comedian’s mother, as he told Davidson to relay to her his new name is “Skete”.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, Kanye also seems to be ready to move on. Recently he relayed a statement to them that says, “I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children.”
He has also hired attorney Samantha Spector to represent him moving forward in the divorce proceedings. Spector represented Dr. Dre’s ex wife Nicole Young in her $100 divorce settlement from the mega producer late last year.
Not one to be outdone, Kanye has seemingly went public with his latest love interest, 24 year old IG model Chaney Jones. The two have made their relationship at least IG official as they posed and posted selfies together for the first time. Social media didn’t hesitate to address that Jones bears an uncanny resemblance to Kim K. Honestly, that makes this whole thing kind of spooky. Kanye West could probably have his pick of the litter when it comes to women; yet he has chosen one that mirrors his ex.
Let’s hope it’s the end of this whole Kimye debacle.
