Recently, a hip hop news outlet argued that Nicki’s booty assets may be part of the reason that she is so successful in the rap game. While she took to social media to blast them for their comments, arguing that her rhymes are what got her there, she still faces a lot of criticism for her body. Some say that she would not see success if it weren’t for her shapely figure, while others have argued that she just happens to be more marketable for her story, co-sign from Lil Wayne, and personalities, than her actual music. Either way, her music doesn’t seem to be the center topic of conversation around her, despite that being what has brought her initial fame.
