Miami Declares State Of Emergency Due To Violence

Miami Beach declares a state of emergency after spring break violence. Furhermore, as part of the order, there will be a 12 a.m. curfew which goes into effect on Thursday. What do y’all think about this?  Follow @hiphop_myway for more crazy news. 

According to News Nation and other reliable sources, officials in Miami Beach declared this state of emergency after a weekend of violence that saw five people wounded. Moreover, there has been multiple shootings reported over the weekend. Meanwhile, many aren’t surprised because the city ha become notorious for its wild spring break parties.

“We can’t endure this anymore. We just simply can’t,” Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said at a press conference Monday. “This isn’t your father or your mother’s spring break. This is something wholly different.”

The mayor said about 100 guns have been seized over the past four weeks and several police officers have been injured while controlling the crowds. However, there has been no homicides reported and maybe this curfew is what the city needs. 

Miami is known for its infamous Spring Breaks. Over the years, many young adults come from all over the country to party and celebrate on Miami’s popular South Beach. As a result, along with the drinking, partying and fun, also comes the violent behavior. However, this year, the city has decided to do something about it. Curfew time!

In short, the gun violence is America is out of control ….. Period!
