Singer Monica Visits C Murder In Prison

If you’re old enough to remember C Murder, then you may remember that he was in a very public relationship with R&B singer Monica. The two were quite inseparable back in those days. In 2009, C Murder was tried and convicted for the alleged 2002 murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas. He is currently serving a lengthy sentence at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in Louisiana. Just recently, the two have seemed to reconnect as singer Monica visits C Murder in his darkest times.

Between his big brother, music mogul Master P, Boosie Badazz and even Kim Kardashian; multiple celebrities have attempted to get C’s conviction overturned. Although It was a witnesses testimony that sealed his fate, that same witness later recanted his story.

It’s great to see so many people in C Murder’s corner. People are wrongly convicted all the time in America. Attorney Kim Kardashian has seemingly been dedicated to trying to help get these people out of prison while they’re still alive. Unfortunately, In the case of C Murder, her efforts haven’t manifested any results as of yet. However, Murder still thanked her and Monica in a IG post for the attempts.

“7 months ago I called @monicadenise & she conferenced in @kimkardashian!” he wrote. “I did not know Moses had been working to reach Kim. After our call for the first time in 19 years, I slept!! You can rest behind these walls but never do you actually sleep! My case had been stagnant for years!”

Good Job Monica…. Let’s hope the judicial system gets this one right.
