Broke? Not Quite. Tekashi 69 counts $1.3 Million

The pressures of looking cool on the internet will get U jammed up in many ways. Rapper/Internet troll Tekashi 69 took to his instagram to promote an upcoming single expected to drop today, (April 15th). While some fans await the release of his new material, others are perplexed by his latest showing of $1.3 Million. He had just provided docs to a judge that he was broke and struggling to make ends meet.

“Right now, I am struggling to make ends meet,” 6ix9ine claimed in the court docs. “I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled. I did receive large advances under the recording artist and merchandising agreements prior to my arrest. However, I do not receive any royalties under those agreements either since my royalty accounts remain unrecouped.”

He told the judge that the judgement against him for a civil suit concerning a 2018 robbery would most likely bankrupt him completely. The civil case stems from an April 2018 armed robbery attempt where 6ix9ine and members of the Trey Nine Bloods assaulted Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier, believing they were members of J. Prince’s Rap-A-Lot Records. The two men were actually working as publicists and filed a lawsuit against 6ix9ine in December 2021.

However, 69 told a judge the lawsuit “It will surely bankrupt me in a way from which I will never recover to the permanent detriment and hardship of the family members who rely upon me.” pertaining to the judgement against him. Maybe he used prop money and is prepared to explain this to a judge. However, you can assure the people who filed the lawsuit against 69 have gotten wind of this video.

He captioned the video, “THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!! IM BACK!! ASK THEM POST THERE HOUSE THEY CARS THEY BANK ACCOUNT.YOU DONT LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS LEASE!! I TOOK OFF RAP 2 YEARS!! I COULD DO THAT YALL CANT!! THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!! Tomorrow GINÈ MUSIC VIDEO 3PM EASTERN!!”

What a world we live in.
