Thanks to its presentation of the episode’s pivotal moment“Save the World” is the finest episode in Dragon Ball Z. An injured Gohan is all that stands between Perfect Cell and annihilation, and they’re off in a tug-of-war battle. Goku urges Gohan to continue on, but Cell keeps the upper-hand. It’s just not enough. The entire saga culminates in this moment, and the Z Warriors are out of options.
