After Gohan wastes no time by taunting Cell, who he could’ve defeated, Cell devises a plan to self-destruct and take out the entire planet. With no way to stop the impending explosion, Goku steps in and says good-bye to his son, and transports himself and Cell to King Kai’s planet, sparing the Earth.
