Considering the company’s popular tagline, Just Do It, working for Nike corporate is a lot more complicated than you would assume regardless if you meet the credentials. It’s been reported that the highly competitive pool of candidates ranges in the tens of thousands monthly. Crazy right!?

Our friends over at Sole Collector got a chance to sit down with former Nike employee Jeff Harris to pick his brain and find out what it really takes to make you stand out amongst the sea of qualified candidates. In his interview, Harris said:
Nike is one company that I can say where it doesn’t matter who you know, really. If your skill set isn’t there, they won’t hire you. That’s the bare, honest to God truth.
