While rap music has been able to spark all kinds of different debates over the years, a lot of the discussion involves men, being that the genre is pretty male-dominated. Although the fellas have been spitting hard for years, the women from over the decades are none to be slept on at all. In fact, a lot of the women can spit harder than the men when they choose to pick up a microphone. Despite the talents on the female front, there seems to be a pattern of short-lived career spans for women in rap music.
