It’s been 17 years since rapper Big L was tragically murdered, but the Harlem rapper’s legacy continues to live on. The hardcore MC’s debut album, Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous, was released 21 years ago today, and in its honor, we decided to dive into some of the rapper’s most controversial lyrics. Not only did Big L have a way with words, but he also was the King of horror rap, which is now a sub-genre in itself.
