The show created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong follows the trails and tribulations of music executive Lucious Lyon (played by Terrence Howard) and his family as they struggle over the Empire Records dynasty. For the past seven weeks rating for the popular television series have gone up by the millions according to Mashable.com. Just what is it about Empire that has everyone tuning in on Wednesday night?
