Hip Hop may gain it’s first billionaire this year. News broke yesterday that Apple will strike a deal to buy Beats Electronics for $3.2 Billion dollars.
Forbes reports the purchase would make Dre an extremely wealthy man. The sale will increase his net worth to approximately $800 million dollars, topping P. Diddy by a cool $100 million.
Dr. Dre and Tyrese celebrated the huge accomplishment in classic hip hop fashion.
