Over the last couple of months we’ve told you about the popular new way to weed delivery service using drone’s, even recently to a prison, but recently the new found way to make deliveries didn’t go over to well. In fact, it went horribly wrong.

Two men, whose names have yet to be disclosed were arrested for allegedly trying to make a delivery of drugs, porn and guns to the Cumberland prison in Maryland. The two were found on the side of Western Correctional Institution in Cumberland on the road with the drone in their vehicle. In addition to the drone, packets of K2 (or synthetic marijuana), tobacco, suboxone, pornographic DVDs and a handgun laid out on a table next to the miniature aircraft which lead the officers to believe that the men were going to try and air deliver to the prison.
State Public Safety and Correctional Services Secretary Stephen Moyer told reporters:
This is the first case in Maryland where a drone is suspected in a contraband delivery plot.
