In 2005 you might remember a hip hop album from the protege of DR.DRE “The Game” released his freshman LP called ” The Documentary” selling 586,000 units in the first week and going on to sell a collective of 5 million copies worldwide. The Game went on to show and prove that he’s going be here for a while. 10 years later with a few #1 records and successful albums and having beef and conflicting relationships with the industry beef, we are on the verge of “The Documentary 2” being released under The Game’s indy label, Blood Money, and its joint venture with E1 records.

What makes this special is that both Game & Dre haven’t worked together in awhile but, like all things the law of attraction can not be denied. We don’t know if or how many records or what Dre is doing on the album but we do know he’s in the picture someway and it’s great to see these two, once again, collaborating. One could wonder if maybe “The Documentary 2” will be premiered on the new Apple Music streaming service. The real question is how big is the rollout plan going to be? And what does Dr.Dre & The Game have planned — inquiring minds simply want to know.
