On Tuesday (Oct 20.), the Barclays Center served as the proverbial playground for a slew of marquee artists ready to perform for JAY Z’s Tidal X Concert. With JAY Z, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, & Lil Wayne spearheading the star-studded event, fans were overwhelmed by the immense talent that swarmed the arena.

After reaching one million subscribers on Tidal, JAY Z enlisted some of his celebrity friends to celebrate his monumental feat. To kick things off, Tidal’s Rising acts consisting of Alessia Cara, Hit-Boy, Justine Skye, Bas, Benjamin Booker, and Flatbush Zombies injected doses of nostalgia to a crowd feverishly waiting for the big names to hit the stage.

The 19-year-old Alessia Cara crushed her performance. With her single “Here” continuing to crescendo on Billboard, she definitely exuded a great deal of showmanship and range with her performance. Flatbush Zombies also did an amazing job repping their hometown of Brooklyn and keeping the crowd engaged.
