Good news for Jeezy! His illegal weapon charge was dismissed today by a California Judge. The Atlanta rapper whose real name is Jay Jenkins was arrested back in August after police officers discovered a rifle on his tour bus. Authorities initially linked the weapon to 38-year-old record label boss Eric Johnson’s murder. However, evidence has revealed that the same weapon was not used in the murder.
“I knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts. I’m relieved that the truth has prevailed.” Jeezy told TMZ.com on Thursday. Congratulations to Jeezy on his victory.
