On Sunday, the sports world was rocked by the passing of NBA coach, Flip Saunders. Saunders, 60, died from complications of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma — a form of cancer. While his untimely demise certainly instilled a sense of melancholy throughout the realm of sports, Kansas City Chiefs safety, Eric Berry helped provide a sense of nostalgia.

Yesterday, Berry caught his first interception against the Pittsburgh Steelers since being diagnosed with the same cancer that took the life of Saunders. Last season, Berry sat out a large portion of the season to fight his battle with cancer. Fortunately, he was able to recover and make it back for the Chiefs this season.
