In honor of the N.W.A biopic, we’re taking you down to memory lane where it all started for one particular artist from the group by the name of Andre Young aka Dr. Dre.

For those who don’t know, Dr. Dre was a house and club DJ for a group called World Class Wreckin’ Cru and it was his affiliation with this group where he sharpened (and mastered) the art of DJ’ing. Dre later lent his talent as a MC and notably for his production work that we have all grown to love. Check out the vintage footage of Dr. Dre in what peaked his career.
