Lil Wayne wants out of Cash Money Records. On Thursday, the rapper tweeted to over 19 million fans that he feels like a prisoner on the label that gave him his start in music. In his tweets, Lil Wayne blamed Baby, Cash Money Records co-founder for the delay of his Tha Carter V album. This comes as a big surprise since Lil Wayne often refers to Baby in public as a father figure. Shortly after Lil Wayne posted his tweets, Pusha T intervened and tweeted his feelings about the situation. What could these creative differences have stemmed from?
Check out Pusha T and all of Lil Wayne’s tweets denouncing his label inside. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V was originally scheduled to be released on December 9th, 2014.
