Master P has offered to cover the funeral costs for a young boy, Ray Etheridge, who was reportedly killed by a homeless man.
Etheridge was just 12-years-old when he was allegedly murdered by 21-year-old Joseph Cambron in Louisville, Kentucky last week.
According to local news station WLKY, Etheridge was last seen on security footage with Cambron.
Later that day, the young boy’s body was found by a runner in a local park and police arrested Cambron on Thursday on suspicion of his murder and tampering with physical evidence. He reportedly admitted to everything.
“We were able to put some information together, they did know each other from that area for a few weeks,” Lt. Todd Kessinger of the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit said.
At a press conference on Thursday, Ray’s father, Ronald Etheridge, was asked “What would you want to see happen to this man who’s been arrested?” His response, “Five minutes alone in a room with him myself.”
Master P, who lost his own brother to violence over 20 years ago, also helped pay for the funeral of a mother of three who was shot and killed in Louisville last December (14).
